MRCE is the geotechnical and foundation engineer for the new 26-story office and condo tower behind Trinity's landmark church in lower Manhattan’s Financial District. The new building, which is constructed on a site that is connected to the church site and a historic cemetery by an ornate pedestrian bridge that spans Trinity Place, has the church's administrative offices and a large parish hall in its lower floors and residential condominiums in the floors above. MRCE designed the excavation support and foundations for the new tower, and provided instrumentation and monitoring of two subway tunnels and adjacent landmark buildings during construction.
